PianoWorks Gallery offers class piano in their state-of-the-art music studio. We offer group piano lessons on real acoustic pianos NOT ELECTRONIC KEYBOARDS. Students will receive 1-on-1 instruction as well as group music theory in a intimate classroom setting of no more than 4 students. Our instructors nurture students in a social and non-competitive environment that builds up and does not tear down.

Classroom Acoustic Dream Pianos for each student.  Dream pianos play and sound like a real piano and with the touch of a button can become a silent piano heard only through personal headphones!    Class Pianos are Black!

When:  Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays

How Often: One 45 minute class per week.

Ages: 7 & up. 

Requirements: Beginners are welcome, as are students with a previous piano background. A desire to learn and participate in a friendly group atmosphere is the greatest requirement.

Instrument Requirements: Our standards are high. Because this course is taught on real pianos, the student must have access to a quality acoustic piano or a digital piano reviewed and approved by PianoWorks staff. If you have your own acoustic piano it must be well maintained, serviced, tuned, and deemed adequate by our staff technician  This class is very high quality and success depends on students having quality instruments on which to practice. If a student does not have access to a quality instrument, one can be rented from PianoWorks Gallery, or a better quality instrument can be sourced as long as it is certified acceptable for a student.

Recitals: Opportunities to perform in a group and solo setting will be offered several times throughout the year, including a Christmas and Spring recital. Location will be at PianoWorks Gallery.

Price: Tuition is $160 per month, plus a one-time $99 registration fee per semester. Registration fee covers books, materials, recitals, and awards. This monthly tuition is for 4 lessons, which cost $40 each. Months that have 5 lessons will cost $200. 

Payment: Enrollment is by semester. Individual lessons cannot be purchased. We accept cash or bank transfer. 

Missed Lessons: Group piano compares to any group or sport activity. Missed lessons will not be made up and will not be refunded. Substitute teachers are available if the regular teacher is absent.
